Spišská Sobota

Doma u nás is located right in the middle of history. The house from 1250 is sensitively placed on one of the three historic squares in Slovakia under UNESCO protection since 1993. The square is dominated by the 13th-century Church of St. George, along with Renaissance and Gothic townhouses, which create a unique atmosphere in Spišská Sobota.

Spiš Castle and the castle grounds

Spiš Castle, dating back to the 12th century, is one of the largest castle complexes in Central Europe. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993 and, together with the historic castle grounds, offers an authentic insight into the medieval history of Spiš.

High Tatras

The High Tatras, declared a national park in 1949, are the pearl of the Slovak mountains. From easy walks to high-altitude hikes and cable car trips to Lomnický štít - experiences await you here all year round.

Levoča and Mariánska hora

Historic Levoča, inscribed on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2009, is home to the Basilica of St. James with the world's tallest Gothic wooden altar, built in 1517 by Master Paul. Mariánska hora, one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in Slovakia, towers above the town.

Caves and nature

Within 30 minutes from Dom u nás there are 4 national parks, the Slovak Paradise with more than 300 km of trails and exceptional caves. Belianska Cave was opened to the public in 1881 and Demänovská Ice Cave is one of the oldest known caves in Europe.
